I know that many people don't support the efforts in Iraq, but does the
media need to continue to ONLY fuel the fire for the opposition to the
war? What would happen if there was balanced reporting on ALL war
reporting? The news media has created a politically controlled attitude
towards our country's efforts.
Some argue that it's patriotic to disagree. It is also patriotic to support what you don't agree with as well.
Let's give this last surge of troops a chance and clean up the garbage
over there. Everyone has to agree that winning and winning quick would
be a great thing - let's give it a chance.
Trying nothing different for the last 2 or more years is wrong, The media
claims that the country voted for change. Well now there is change - a
surge of more power concentrated in specific areas staying there until
the garbage is gone. Now lets see some support for that change as
requested instead of only supporting the doom and gloom and walking
away from what we started.
The local media seems like 'lemmings' because they are following the
agenda of their parent networks. There is a market for support. Does
anyone have the courage and patriotism to show it?
Show me courage and patriotism by showing me the success of our precious troops.
